Who runs this site

Bozeman Electricians is a free quote-referral service. It is not an electrician or electrical contractor and does not perform electrical work. Requests sent through it go to independent electrical contractors, who are separate businesses.

What is collected

When you use the quote form, the site collects what you enter: your name and phone number (required), and optionally your email address, ZIP code or town, the type of electrical work and the details you describe. It also records which page you sent the form from.

Like most websites, the site receives basic technical information such as browser type, device, pages viewed and approximate location based on your IP address. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google may receive your IP address when a page loads.

How the form works

The quote form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is sending it. Cloudflare may process technical signals from your browser and device for that check. When you submit, your entries are delivered by Cloudflare email delivery to the site operator. Cloudflare handles that data under its own privacy policy.

How it is used and shared

• To get you quotes. Your request is shared with independent electrical contractors who serve your area, so they can contact you about it. Those contractors may pay Bozeman Electricians to receive requests, and they handle your information under their own privacy practices.
• To follow up. With the consent you give on the form, the site operator or the matched contractors may call, text or email you about your request. Calls and texts from the site identify Bozeman Electricians, and requests to stop are honored.
• To run the site. Technical data helps keep the site working, block spam and show which pages are useful.
• When the law requires it. Information may be disclosed if required by law or to protect the site and its users.

Bozeman Electricians does not sell your personal information.

Phone calls

Calls to (406) 643-1006 are routed through a call-routing provider to an independent electrical contractor that serves the Bozeman area. The person who answers works for that contractor, not for this site. The provider may log details such as your number, the time and length of the call, and calls may be recorded by the provider or by the company that receives them.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technology and processes data under Google's own policies. You can limit it with your browser's privacy settings, an ad or tracker blocker, or Google's opt-out browser add-on.

How long it is kept

Quote requests are kept as long as needed to pass them on and handle follow-up, and for a reasonable time afterward for records and spam prevention. Contractors who received your request keep their copy under their own policies.

Your choices

• Deletion or correction. To ask that your request be deleted or corrected, send the quote form again, choose "Other" and say so. Include the name and phone number you used.
• Stop contact. Reply STOP to a text, or tell the caller you do not want further calls. You can also ask the contractors who contacted you to delete your details.
• Cookies. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies.

Children

The site is meant for adults arranging electrical work and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes
